The Greater WP region has a few additional countries and includes Iran, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, all of Saudi Arabia, Oman and Yemen.
The IOC recognises 1066 species in the WP under the new Avilist system and 1185 species in the GWP.

GPS Tracking of Trindade Petrel
Here’s a fascinating map showing GPS tracking of 267 adult Trindade Petrels from their breeding colony on Round Island in Mauritius. This species has not been officially recorded in Omani waters or as far as we know, anywhere in the Arabian Sea so far.....
